Dr. Hooper began her professional career in Molecular and Human Genetics Research after earning her degree from Texas Southern University. After five years in research, she transitioned into education as a High School Biology teacher and steadily advanced into leadership roles, serving as a district specialist, middle school assistant principal, principal, central office district leader overseeing principals, and Deputy Superintendent.

Dr. Hooper has dedicated her career to school transformation, leading efforts that improved academic performance, strengthened accountability measures, and supported student growth. She also brings expertise in research and policy, utilizing both to inform decision-making and raise public awareness on critical issues in education.

Dr. Hooper earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Texas at Austin. She partners with public and charter schools, universities, and non-profit organizations to strengthen systems, foster sustainable practices, and drive school improvement. Dr. Hooper also completed advanced training through Harvard University’s National Institute for Urban School Leaders, where she studied best practices and research-based techniques for leading school improvement in urban settings. In addition, she studied abroad in Costa Rica to deepen her understanding of the Spanish language and better support multilingual learners.

Trilogy Education Solutions (T.E.S.) exists to strengthen teaching and learning by providing comprehensive support in policy development, school improvement planning, curriculum design, personalized coaching, and data-driven strategies. Our work equips educators with the tools and guidance needed to effectively implement high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) and improve student outcomes.
